We're neither red nor blue, but we are passionately committed to furthering the advancement of leading alcohol-free hand sanitizer products within medical, corporate, industrial, educational and home environments.
Companies such as Ecolab, GermX, Gojo, and other major manufacturers of alcohol-based hand sanitizing products will challenge our opinions. After all, these companies represent the incumbent products, encompassing a $200 million a year industry within the US alone.
Yes, we know that alcohol-based hand sanitizers can kill select germs on contact, presuming hands are not soiled/dirty. But, these products are notorious for being flammable, irritating to the skin, have limited efficacy, and They've also been responsible for 12,000+ cases of child-related alcohol poisoning.
Industry lobbyists have a reason to try to protect the interests of alcohol-based sanitizer manufacturers: they get paid millions of dollars every year to stifle competing technologies. We're here to help create awareness and represent the interests of all concerned about hand hygiene best practices.

alcohol wipes, etc are great and so handy. keep in mind that about half the wipes you find now aren’t alcohol wipes but contain benzalkonium chloride instead, which is also a disinfectant, but is replacing alcohol in many cases as it’s less drying, not able to be abused by goobers and is gentler on your skin. just make sure your wipes aren’t linty!
*sometimes i grab a little hand sanitizer foam in the dr. or clinic and dampen my phone with it. ..just don’t wet it!
